Babil, the young and promising actor recently shared his sentiments about his mother, Sutapa Sikdar. While discussing his upcoming film ‘Friday Night Plan’ in an interview, he also expressed his wish that he was living up to her expectations.
Talking to the media, Babil said that during school days boys of his age were too reluctant to be friends with him as he used to open up too much about his feelings and for the same reason, he used to get lots of female attention.
Babil detailed that whenever he said to his boyfriends that he would like to be friends with them, they would reply that he talks about his feelings a lot and ask him to play football instead. This is the sole reason why Babil became friends with girls, as they usually listened to his feelings.
Babil’s perspective on gender dynamics differed from the typical attitudes and conversations among boys. This divergence led him to forge stronger connections with girls than boys.
Expressing his approach towards relationships, Babil emphasised that he never pursued women as if they were objects to be ‘gotten.’ He critiqued this mindset prevalent among boys, stating it influences how they perceive women.
Meanwhile, ‘Friday Night Plan,’ which is set to release on September 1, marks Babil’s second feature film after his debut in 2022’s ‘Qala.’
