September 1 (SeeNews) – Albania’s economic confidence indicator increased by 2.1 percentage points (pp) to 114.1 in August, after decreasing by 6.5 pp in July, the central bank said on Friday.
The improved confidence in construction and services contributed to the upward trend of the economic sentiment indicator, the Bank of Albania said in a monthly business and consumer confidence survey.
The industry confidence indicator fell by 5 pp in August, standing 8.8 pp above its historical average.
The construction confidence indicator increased by 5.1 pp, coming 30 pp above the historical average.
The services confidence indicator increased by 8.6 pp in August to stand above its historical average by 24.4 pp.
The trade confidence indicator declined by 2.8 pp to come 12.5 pp above its historical average.
The consumer confidence indicator edged down by 0.5 pp.
